Castellari Bergaglio’s history is that of a family who decided to dedicate their time to wine production in the late 19th century. The winery’s objective has always been to make wines whose features are unmistakeably linked to the terroir, and to achieve this attention is focused on the Cortese grape variety, emblematic of the Gavi production zone.

Those lengthy efforts that begin in the vineyard and conclude with bottling have enabled us to craft a series of wines displaying unique characteristics, distinctive to each individual wines, but wines that share together the key belief in our philosophy: passion and respect for the Cortese di Gavi grape and its growing area.
